How We Work
Oasis Foundation operates as a fund that sponsors social services for community members. Under the foundation, Oasis has six funds: Education, Wellbeing, Transportation, Funeral, Community, and Heart’s Desires.
The Education Fund
The Education Fund covers educational expenses, such as:

Organizing school supply drives

Providing partial higher education scholarships to family members of former or current hospice patients

Educating our community about hospice care and other end-of-life services
The Funeral Fund
The Funeral Fund covers funeral expenses for hospice patients.
The Wellbeing Fund
The Wellbeing Fund covers bereavement counseling services for family members of patients, such as:

Spiritual Counseling

Life Coaching

Grief Yoga

Meditation
The Community Fund
The Community Fund covers social welfare and nourishment expenses, such as:

Air conditioners

Groceries

Life essentials as a means of disaster relief
The Transportation Fund
The Transportation Fund covers related bus, train, and airline ticket expenses for family members of hospice patients.
The Heart's Desires Fund
The Heart’s Desires Fund grants a wish for hospice patients who are in their final stage of life to fulfill their heart’s desire. A heart’s desire can range from travel, a visit to a national park, a family reunion, a spa day to dinner at a favorite restaurant.
